Now that the summer season has started, we are open early and close late.

Started solely as a wine store, we have grown into much more. We still offer the store in addition to a wine bar, coffee shop, and light tasty food. The wine bar provides a relaxing place for intimate conversations and great music listening. Snack on our specialty sandwiches and gourmet cheeses.

Our building is part of Beaufort history. It used to house the maritime museum. In the past, many a sailor found a temporary berth in the apartments that were on the top deck. You could fix your boat, get your hair styled, or spin a yarn with Beaufort's very own pirate, Sinbad.

Our wine buyer, Rick, stocks our cellar with an ever changing selection of wines from around the world. From California wine country, to South American malbecs to Vampire merlot from Transylvania, we are sure to have something to please every palette.

Recently, North Carolina changed the law regarding higher alcohol malt brews. This has allowed us to expand our beer list to include many new brands.

Select from your favorites such as Belhaven, Chimay, Delirium Tremens, Hobgoblin, Red Stripe, Perroni, and Yuengling.

Our tastly light fare features such treats as pannini sandwiches, cheese plates, smoked salmon on bagels, and even hand made individual pizza.

We can also provide caterering for your private event on our premise.

Weekends, our live music draws from a rich talent pool. Our stage has been home to Chritina Bland, GE Cooper, Delaware Rag, Walt Denny, Nivard Malcolm, Guy Robert, Richard Smith, Ian Thomas, Unknown Tounges, GNU Tattoo, and Bobby Webb.

Wine tasting with light food every 3rd Wednesday of the month for 10$. The next one, hosted by Mary Mehlich and sponsored by Country Vintners, is Dec 20th @ 7:30pm. Tuesday nights, come to a jam session with Walt Denny, just bring your instrument or voice and join the crowd for a great time.
